This database consists of Modern Greek psychological verbs with literal meaning and of the most important syntactic, morphological, etymological and semantic parameters concerning these verbs. The parameters are qualitative and quantitative. For the quantitative parameters the numeral data, which refer to the frequency of appearance, was collected from the Modern Greek text corpora elTenTen14 that are available through the Sketch Engine platform. In the database every psych verb is marked for each qualitative and quantitative parameter.

This dataset contains data of a study that investigated whether fish protein, vitamin D, and ω3 supplementation enhanced adaptations to high-intensity functional training (HIFT). Specifically, it includes participant characteristics along with anthropometric, supplementation, training, and performance measurements.
This dataset contains data of a study aimed at investigating the effects of egg white and whey protein supplementation during HIFT on physical performance in trained individuals. Specifically, it contains the characteristics of the participants, anthropometric, supplementation, training, and performance data.
This study investigates how pre-service physics teachers (undergraduate students in a Physics department) and in-service science teachers perceive the domains of TPACK and what these differences imply for university-based teacher education. A total of 48 pre-service physics undergraduates and 27 in-service teachers completed an adapted 21-item self-assessment questionnaire, combining validated items with context-specific modifications.
"This dataset was generated for the FP7 project DAIAD. It contains SWM time-series for 1,007 consumers of water utility AMAEM (located in Alicante), randomly selected
from the ~110,000 available smart water meters in Alicante with only criteria their geospatial proximity with the project's Trial panel.
Each time series starts at 01/01/2015 at 00:00 and ends at 19/05/2017 at 23:59. The data from 01/01/2015 00:00 until the beginning of the Trial were
provided and uploaded in the DAIAD system in a single batch. Each time series contains hourly measurements of the water consumption of a household, along with the exact time the
measurement was taken. Each measurement contains the total volume of water consumed since the installation of the SWM as well as the volume of water
consumed since the last measurement was taken. The dataset includes 16,857,056 measurements in total, which amounts to 16,739 measurements per user.
More details for the dataset can be found in the D7.3 Deliverable of the project DAIAD
(http://daiad.eu/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/D7.3_Trials_Evaluation_v1.0.pdf)."
Relocated earthquake catalog spanning 4 months (January-April 2024) during the swarm-like seismic excitation that occured in the offshore area north of Kefalonia island in the Central Ionian Islands, Greece. Events were detected and picked using Phasenet (Zhu and Beroza, 2018), located using Hypoinverse (Klein, 2002) and relocated with HypoDD (Waldhauser and Ellsworth, 2000). Dataset also contains computed focal mechanisms for specific events.
This study examined the effect of pre-exercise carbohydrate intake on blood glucose, blood lactate, and performance in competitive swimmers during sprint interval swimming. Ten male and 11 female swimmers performed two 4 × 50-m maximal sprint trials in their specialized stroke, spaced two days apart, in a random, counterbalanced order. In one trial (carbohydrate trial), the participants consumed a candy providing 1 g carbohydrates per kg body weight one hour before exercise, while, in the other trial (no-carbohydrate trial), they did not eat the candy. Blood glucose and lactate were measured before, immediately after, and 30 min after exercise. Performance time for each 50 m was recorded.
A set of files for use in SentiStrength (http://sentistrength.wlv.ac.uk/), a sentiment analysis program. These files can be used for sentiment detection in Greek political tweets (short texts).
A set of csv files with the publications of Greek researchers in the SCOAP3 initiative per institution. The dataset is supportive of the regular monitoring reports of the progress of the Open Access programmes of the HEAL-Link consortium.
This dataset contains data of a study aimed at investigating the effects of protein supplementation during Pilates training on body composition, core muscle endurance, and joint flexibility in trained women. Specifically, it contains the characteristics of the participants, anthropometric, body composition, performance, and nutritional data.
This dataset contains full-year RINEX 2.11 GNSS observation files (GPS and GLONASS) for the year 2024 from the LEFK station, located in Lefkada, Greece. The data are provided in the context of the HOMEROS research project, part of the OSCARS initiative, which aims to harmonise observations in multi-hazard environments and promote open science. The OSCARS project has received funding from the European Commission’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101129751.
The archive contains videos and photos from UAV flights on various dates in order to monitoring the construction of the Social Sciences Building on the University Hill.
The dataset contains information on the site survey and geoarchaeology of Paliambela Kolindros, compiled prior to excavation. It contains 3D shapefiles for borehole location, geological layers and survey units. It includes a DTM of the site area, the processed raster data of the geomagnetic survey, landscape features and original topographic data.
Data processed from Twitter accounts of Greek politicians. The data contains the tweets of Alexis Tsipras and Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the pre-election period April-May 2023. The Twitter accounts that were studied were: atsipras, kmitsotakis and primeministerGR. For our processing we used spreadsheets and ILSP Lemmatizer. For visualizing the data we used WordArt.
We monitored the oxygenation and blood supply in three quadriceps muscles (vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, and rectus femoris) during squatting exercise to exhaustion.
To date, the effect of salinity on the sorption process of organic pollutants on solid sorbents has been studied considering that sorption is a linear process that depends on the fraction of organic carbon. Studies of the last decade have proven that the sorption of organics in the environment is not necessarily a linear process. For sediments and soils with particulate carbonaceous contaminants, such as soot or coal particles, organic contaminant isotherms with a large non-linearity have been observed. Preliminary studies have shown that indeed salinity affects sorption depending on the mechanism observed for each sorbent species. Otherwise, sorption is affected by salinity, when it takes place on the surface of the sorbent, and otherwise in the pores inside the sorbent. The postgraduate research includes an experimental study of the equilibrium and kinetics of the sorption of an organic pollutant (phenanthrene) on various sorbents from seawater. The sorbents include carbonaceous particles and heterogeneous materials, such as charcoal, lignite and marine sediments from the area of Aliveri, Lavrio and the Saronic Gulf (Loutropyrgos) that have been contaminated by the above carbonaceous particles.
